Prom Season is Coming…Are you Ready?

One of the things I have been dreading as the mom of two teenage girls is prom season. The dresses, the shoes, the ride, and not to mention, the boys! YIKES!! I have been terrified of all those things, but all the girls can really think about are the dresses. Today’s proms are nothing like the ones I went to in the early 90′s. They have to worry about someone else having the same dress and then with all the instant pictures going up on social media, they will worry about everyone seeing their dress.

What about the importance of that one dress? Their dress will be what speaks for her that night and people will remember her when she steps out wearing it. When each and every girl has decided what dress to choose, I want to make sure that my girls dresses are the one’s that grabs everyone’s attention over all the other dresses that are on display. The best dresses need be chosen in order for both of them to be able to create an exquisite look all their own.

We have planned ahead and made sure that we search for just the right place to get their dresses from. But with hundreds of places that are trying to sell you the “Perfect” dress, which one do you choose? Browsing late one night I found JJsHouse and was completely taken back to my prom. All their dresses are beautiful, elegant, and totally Cinderella worthy. Plus, with so many to choose from, I seriously doubt anyone will came to their prom with the same dress on. There are very few times in your life when you get to wear a truly glamorous, jaw-dropping dress. Why not make that night one of those that they will remember forever? The best way for us to achieve this is to visit http://www.jjshouse.com/Prom-Dresses-c18/, where we can find something for both of them.

Above all I have told both of them to relax, have fun, and dance like no one is looking. Have a good time with their friends and create not just pictures, but wonderful memories to last a lifetime, because that is truly what that night is all about. I can still remember the last song my date and I danced to at our prom and I want them to have those special memories to cherish too.

A lot of stores these days will take the name and school of the girl and will not sell that dress to any other person from that same school so that nobody has her dress!

Great post!! I have one girl, but she will not have prom until next year. So worried about the cost of everything but looking at their site makes me happy to know that there is somewhere I can get her dress for a lot less. Thank you for sharing this Cyndee
